Residential Construction is offered at IFHS, opened to all students based on availability.
Coursework leads to postsecondary programs and careers in designing, constructing, and maintaining the built environment. Students will participate in designing buildings, constructing, landscape, network, and manage the construction of a small building project. Students are expected to participate both academically and physically in class assignments. Students also complete a work-based learning experiences. Students have the option to participate in SkillsUSA, the student organization, the membership dues are $20.00.
- Construction – Residential I - 1 trimester
- Residential Construction II - 1 trimester – 2 hour block Grades 11, 12
- Residential Construction III - 1 trimesters – 2 hour block Grades 11, 12
