Seniors Need Meningococcal Vaccines! reminder


Just a reminder: Idaho has updated its vaccination requirements and 7th graders are now required to have the meningococcal vaccine, and 12th graders are now required to have a second dose of the meningococcal vaccine. Great American ShakeOut shakeout


As part of our efforts to keep students and staff safe, all D91 schools are taking part in the Great American ShakeOut at 10:21 on Thursday, Oct. 21. The ShakeOut is the world's largest earthquake drill designed to teach people what to do in case of an earthquake. Our students will be taking part in Drop, Cover and Hold On drills. State of the District on Facebook! state


If you haven't had a chance to catch Dr. Shank's State of the District event yet, tune in to a special Facebook LIVE Chat at 11:30 am on Monday, Oct. 25, on the D91Proud Facebook Page. Dr. Shank will discuss the district's goals and objectives, review student performance, share highlights from the budget and talk about the district's facility needs. If you don't Facebook, we'll post a recording of the presentation on the district website afterward. 

Make Plans For College Fair college


Calling all High School Students! The SE Idaho College Fair is Wednesday, Oct. 20, from 5 pm to 8 pm at Idaho Falls High School. This is a great opportunity to meet representatives from dozens and dozens of local, state and regional colleges and universities. Representatives from the military and technical schools will also be on hand. In addition, students can learn about scholarship programs, way to pay for college and they can win prizes. Attendance Policy 7 hours before LCA!

 

Students may not miss more than 7 hours per class, per each 7-week block before losing credit due to absences (LCA). Keep in mind classes are almost 2 hours long so 7 hours will add up quickly!

Medical appointments with a doctor's note will not count against your 7 hours.

Please try to schedule appointments outside of the school day!

New COVID-19 Dashboard update1

 

In response to feedback from parents and staff, D91 has expanded its COVID-19 Dashboard. The dashboard now includes weekly case counts, number of cases confirmed by EIPH and those confirmed by parents/teachers/staff, impacted schools/departments and infection rates.
