All D91’s sophomores will take the PSAT on Wednesday, Oct. 13. The PSAT is a great tool to help students gauge their college and career readiness. Part of the SAT suite of assessments, it measures math, reading and writing and language skills. It also highlights areas where students are doing well and areas where they may need some improvement to ensure success beyond high school. To help your child prepare for the PSAT, please: Encourage them to get plenty of rest and eat a good breakfast on test day; make sure they arrive at school on time on test day with two No. 2 pencils with soft erasers (no pens or mechanical pencils); an approved calculator like a #10-20, 4-function calculators; and snacks and a water bottle.
