The College and Career Readiness initiative was established to support one of the strategic goals of the Idaho Department of Education, as outlined by the Superintendent of Public Instruction: "All Idaho students persevere in life and are prepared for college and careers." Whether you are a student, a family member, or an educator in Idaho, our aim is to provide resources and links that will inform, support, and enhance efforts toward student success and future goal setting. As legislated by Senate Bill 1290 in 2016, each public school in Idaho who serves students in grades 8-12 shall establish a college and career advising program for their students. These programs can include advising personnel, near peer/college mentors, students ambassadors, and virtual coaching, among other activities.
