Culinary Arts and Hospitality

  • Courses introduce students to the many careers within the restaurant, food service and hospitality industry. Students have the opportunity to practice professional food preparation, international cuisines, food safety and sanitation, customer service relations, accounting, cost control, marketing and lodging management.Students have the option to participate in FCCLA, the student organization, the membership dues are $25.00.

    • Nutrition & Foods 1 trimester Grades 10, 11, 12
    • Culinary Arts A 1 trimester – 2 hour block Grades 11, 12
    • Culinary Arts B (Capstone) 1 trimester – 2 hour block Grades 11, 12
    • Occ Experience – Family Consumer Science - Optional Grades 11, 12

    Students also complete an industry-mentored work-based learning experience and can earn industry certification and college credit
