Online Course Offerings
D91 is thrilled to offer online courses for middle and high school students! Whether you’re looking for more flexibility, needing accommodation for health issues, or seeking opportunities to advance, D91 online courses are here to meet your needs. This is a landing page for information about online course offerings for the 2026-27 school year. Information will be added to this page as it becomes available.
General Information
- Online courses are available to all Idaho students, even if you don’t live within D91 boundaries.
- D91 online courses are an extension of the following physical campuses: Eagle Rock Middle School (7-8), Taylorview Middle School (7-8), Idaho Falls High School (9-12), Skyline High School (9-12), and Compass Academy (9-12).
- Online courses are taught by D91 teachers at the corresponding physical campus. Online students have access to in-person help from these teacher(s) every Friday (Intervention Day).
- Students who take online courses are enrolled at the corresponding campus, which means they can participate in their school's sports, clubs, and activities.
Schedule
- High school students interested in online courses may build a partially online or fully online schedule.
- Middle school students may build a fully online schedule, or attend fully in-person. A blend of online and in-person classes is not available at the middle school level, with the exception of online students who enroll in select music classes (see Course Offerings for details).
Registration
- Already a D91 student? Contact your middle or high school counselor. They will assist you with planning and registering for online courses.
- Not a D91 student? Complete an open enrollment application. Once the application is approved, the student should meet with the counselor for the school for which they applied. The counselor will be able to assist the student with planning and registering for online courses.
- Note: D91 online courses are an extension of the following physical campuses: Eagle Rock Middle School (7-8), Taylorview Middle School (7-8), Idaho Falls High School (9-12), Skyline High School (9-12), and Compass Academy (9-12). Please select the appropriate school when completing an open enrollment application.

- Online courses are offered through Edgenuity, an award-winning provider of online curriculum for the secondary level.
