One District One Book

Exciting News! Join Us for One District, One Book: A Month of Shared Reading!

We are thrilled to announce the launch of One District, One Book, a month-long event designed to bring our community together through the joy of reading.

Starting on Feb 3rd, we will be featuring daily readings of our selected book and engaging in fun, thought-provoking discussions along the way. This is an opportunity for everyone—students, families, and staff—to read together, learn together, and connect over a great story.

Here's how it works:

Daily Readings: Each day, we will post a new audio and video chapters of the book to our website for you to follow.
Reading Schedule: A full reading schedule will be available for download on our One District One Book page.
Discussion and Activities: Engage with the content by following along with our discussion prompts and activity suggestions posted each week.

We encourage you to join in on the excitement, share your thoughts, and stay connected throughout the event. Whether you're reading for the first time or revisiting the book, there’s something special about experiencing it together.

Let’s make this a memorable reading experience for our entire district!

Remember Intervention Friday

Intervention Friday is part of the district's ongoing efforts to try and ensure all students are successful. Teachers dig into student data, look at potential gaps in student learning, and discuss ways to address those gaps by changing instruction or offering interventions to students. All D91 elementary schools will be released an hour earlier than normal on Fridays. D91 middle schools and high schools will have a half day for students with a grade below a C or if they have an “I” (an invitation) on Fridays. Please contact your school with any questions about D91’s Intervention Friday.
